“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11
That is the same Holy Spirit that raised Christ from the dead as Jesus promised we would have a Comforter. “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.” John 16:7
This is the same Spirit that dwells in us if we have committed our lives to Christ and live for Him. This is the same Spirit that will be with Jesus when He returns. It is impossible for the natural mind to understand it. It can only be understood by revelation of the Lord. You can always ask Him to open the scriptures to you. Jesus often spoke in parables and hid things so that some could not understand and so that others might desire to know more and seek Him for the answers.
The same spirit when He says: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” John 1:27
The same Spirit that released Paul and Silas from Prison, who spoke the book of Revelation to John, who formed the foundations of the world. This is the very same Spirit that works in your life when you ask. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8
