Inaccurate Conclusions

Nobody understands us like Jesus
We don’t have to explain anything
We don’t have to tell Him what we meant or how we meant it
We don’t have to tell Him how we are feeling
He knows
He gets it
He knows our stressors, how we function and operate
He knows us better than we know ourselves

People do not know us the same way
Even our best, most intimate loved ones
do not know us the same depth as Jesus does
People can misunderstand us or judge us
Deciding how we should feel or think or act
Jesus is there to help us if we need it or want it, He has lots of help to give
He knows we make mistakes, that is part of being a mortal
He knows our intentions, He knows our frailties, He knows it all

He works with us so that we can be who we were created to be
He is also extremely patient with us
He is kind to us
He is willing to give us what we need when we ask for support,
to give us wisdom, counsel, advice
The depth of His knowledge is unfathomable

He allows people who might reflect who we are
or who may accuse us like Satan does
The important thing is when we are accused
or when someone tells you how they see you is to take that to God,
God is the righteous judge
God may say, yes, they do see something that is true in you, let’s work on that
or He may let you know
that their judgments are the way they think you should be
or perhaps are even baseless,
and not at all to help you but rather to tear you down
The Holy Spirit can help to decipher, and He will when you seek God’s face

God is gracious and kind filled with mercy
When a human corrects us, that comes with their own thoughts,
and includes their backgrounds, their baggage
We cannot dismiss everything other humans say because God does allow people in our lives to shape and mold us
There are also humans who were like Job’s comforters who are useless
and just there to vex us

God did finally deal with those who rose up against Job
and He threw down their accusations before all to see:
And it was so, that after the Lord had spoken these words unto Job,
the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite,
My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends:
for ye have not spoken of Me the thing that is right,
as my servant Job hath
. Job 42:7
Meanwhile, Job was strengthened in the Lord
and Job had to look to God only to overcome
To overcome what was being given to him by these friends he had

Those comforters did not understand Job, nor the ways of the Lord
They did not see the deep places of Job’s heart toward God
They did not offer the mercy and grace the Lord did
They were not capable
They were human and they were speaking out of their own faulty wisdom,
not the wisdom of God

Beware when those who think it’s their duty to correct you
Be careful that you are finding your ultimate answers in the Lord
No matter how important the person may be,
that person is indeed just a human, a mere mortal
Seeking God’s face and following Jesus is where you will find the truth
