Increase the time you spend with God

Whatever time you have chosen to give to the Lord each day, increase it

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,
and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:13

We are in the Evil Day
Maybe you haven’t yet decided to give the Lord an allotted time,
Start with prayer, ask Him how much time
we should spend with Him each day
Be faithful to Him and honor that time allotment
Ask for wisdom about how to spend that time
Bible reading? Prayer? Singing praise? Being quiet before Him, listening?
Whatever He shows you,
we are talking about your individual relationship with Him
It is important that we tune our senses to hear from God,
considering Jesus each step of the way
Could be different each day
There are really no binding mandates,
the Holy Spirit will honor your dedication and meet you,
if you seek Him with your whole heart
It is my opinion that the first fruits of our day are our best
Daniel prayed 3x per day
Pray without ceasing 1 Thessalonians 5:17
There really is no formula
It is very important to spend time with Him as often as is possible
Will you give up your favorite show?
Take a walk so you can pray and listen?
There are many ways we can honor Jesus that will fit into our lifestyles
Some will be a sacrifice, others, we’ll just think,
I’ve never thought of doing that, that makes perfect sense for me
Seek Him on this
We all need to be listening very closely to His direction right now
The days are getting very evil

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars;
and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity;
the sea and the waves roaring;
Men’s hearts failing them for fear,
and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth:
for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud
with power and great glory.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up,
and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves
that summer is now nigh at hand.
So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass,
know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
Luke 21:25-31
