From the Song of Moses in Deuteronomy 32:
He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness;
He led him about, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye. v10
Israelis are God’s chosen people.
They are His family.
And, we are His family.
And if some of the branches be broken off,
and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them,
and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Boast not against the branches.
But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith.
Be not highminded, but fear:
For if God spared not the natural branches,
take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. Romans 11:17-22
God has a few prodigals in Israel.
Let’s pray for them, all of them, pray for the remnant.
The Lord recompense thy work,
and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel,
under whose wings thou art come to trust. Ruth 2:12
There are some who want to tear Israel in half.
If they do, they will see God repay them.
And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying,
What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine,
and taketh away the reproach from Israel?
for who is this uncircumcised Philistine,
that he should defy the armies of the living God? 1 Samuel 17:26
Our God is a Living God.
I serve the God of Daniel.
Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel,
and cast him into the den of lions.
Now the king spake and said unto Daniel,
Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee. Daniel 6:16
The king did not know the Lord like Daniel did,
but he had seen God work on Daniel’s behalf. And, he believed.
The Lord touched the heart of the uncircumcised king
to know God was above all the gods he served or trusted in.
Jesus will surely continue His work in the hearts of those
who are heirs to the promises given to bring them to the knowledge of Him.
