I heard a preacher say:
There is no such thing as tithing now, you don’t need to tithe 10%
That is between each person and God how much they give,
whether or not they want to tithe
For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men?
for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10
Nobody else’s business
You and your Creator
After all, you’ll stand before Him in the end,
not the guy who says you shouldn’t tithe
Check with God, let Him lead you in this and all things
It is not up to any person to decide how you should serve God
Whether it is about money or time or what you do for a living, or anything,
let the Holy Spirit lead you and guide you
Jesus said:
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:30
Don’t pretend
Do it from your heart for God
Whatever you do, do it unto the Lord:
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Colossians 3:23
