If you seek answers and choose to look outside of God’s word,
you will end up in a ditch
You will be led from the truth and fall into error,
no matter how great those answers seem
The Doctrines of men or demons are like a cult within the church
They have put their ideas together, carefully,
they have their testimonies or doctrines dutifully studied and laid out
Some of them can even include the word of God,
to draw those in who may lust for answers with their foolish, fleshly minds
Satan himself used the Word of God to Jesus
Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city,
and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
And saith unto Him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down:
for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee:
and in their hands they shall bear thee up,
lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Jesus said unto him, It is written again,
Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Matthew 4:5-7
His tactics never change
Satan still uses God’s word to his advantage
He twists and manipulates what God has said
He misinterprets the meaning
He will lead you astray if you let him
That is why loving the truth is so vital
Without the love of the truth, deception can creep in
and often through other people who may seem to be upright:
For there are certain men crept in unawares,
who were before of old ordained to this condemnation,
ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness,
and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Jude 1:4
Let God’s word dwell in you richly
that you may reflect the light He has shown you and taught you
Stay away from darkness and the world
for they will do nothing but extinguish your light
Let no man deceive you with vain words:
for because of these things
cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord:
walk as children of light: Ephesians 5:6-8
