Have you ever had something in your life work out so well
that you know it was planned by God long before it actually happened?
It might be someone in your life you just happened to cross paths with,
at just the right time, when you were not expecting them.
Maybe it was your spouse
or someone else you know who is of great significance to you?
I saw the Lord’s handiwork recently.
He worked things out like no one else could have.
I traced Him back a little ways.
I saw that He even did great things
that must have affected many before this circumstance.
There were godly laws set in place and used in this situation.
Jesus brought those laws to mind with the people I was working with
to bring about a situation that needed to be addressed.
His fingerprints are everywhere.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
I’ve seen Jesus fulfill that scripture too many times to count or even remember.
I just know He does it, just like He says.
He can take the worst, most impossible situation and work it out.
I don’t know how He does it but He does it.
If we look at God’s word , throughout The Bible,
we can find examples where He orchestrated events
and brought them together like a fine symphony.
That is why I think of Him as a Maestro sometimes.
He is all the time, but I am just reminded at times.
We all will see His handiwork if we look in our lives.
One of my favorite books of the Bible is Esther.
God worked the whole story out in a grand scheme,
but there was one part in the story where Haman,
the wicked leader was trying to kill all the Jews
and he particularly hated Mordecai, Queen Esther’s uncle.
One day, Mordecai exposed a plot to kill king Ahasuerus
and it was written in the kings books.
The king had not read about the event or even known about the event
and thus he had not recognized Mordecai yet for saving his life.
Just when Haman was plotting to destroy Mordecai and the Jews,
the king couldn’t sleep. (I wonder who was directing his heart?)
God’s perfect timing was in play here.
On that night could not the king sleep,
and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles;
and they were read before the king.
And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh,
two of the king’s chamberlains, the keepers of the door,
who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.
And the king said,
What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this?
Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him,
There is nothing done for him. Esther 6:1-3
At the perfect moment in time,
God prompted the king to read about Mordecai
and what he had done to save his life.
When king Ahasuerus found out he had done nothing yet for Mordecai,
the king told his servant/leader Haman the very enemy of Mordecai
to parade Mordecai through the streets to extend great honor to him.
Isn’t that just like God?
That reflects His word in many places.
These two scriptures explains one of the things God does:
The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow,
to cast down the poor and needy,
and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
Psalm 37:14-15
We can see Jesus’ Maestro work in all the history written in His word if we look.
Joseph’s life is another story that stands out.
He was sold into slavery by his brothers, then thrown in jail,
then exalted by God and given a position to save many lives,
including the lives of his brothers who had wished him harm.
We can additionally see God’s restoration, examples of forgiving from the bottom of our heart, repentance on his brothers’ part
and other lessons of God’s orchestration.
When Jesus walked on the Earth,
each event He experienced was directed by God the Father.
From His birth and all through His life and death and resurrection.
God was orchestrating. That is what God does. That is Who He is.
For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made,
even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Romans 1:20
