As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire;
so shall it be in the end of this world.
The Son of man shall send forth His angels,
and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend,
and them which do iniquity;
And shall cast them into a furnace of fire:
there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Matthew 13:40-43
Jesus mentioned Hell in parables and He warned against Hell in other ways.
Whosoever pleases the Lord will be able to stay with Him and whosoever does not, will be cast into a furnace of fire.
How do we please the Lord Jesus? He told us that in His word, too.
In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:
whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God,
neither he that loveth not his brother. 1 John 3:10
He wants us to love others and give what we have.
He does not want us to be attached to earthly things.
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down,
and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.
For with the same measure that ye mete
withal it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38
That does not mean you give everything away. Obedience to God is key.
And mostly, He wants us to give and receive His love,
and then extend His to love others.
Whatever we do, let us do it unto the Lord.
With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: Ephesians 6:7
The last thought I’ll leave you with. Do NOT lose the fear of God, like Solomon did.
The separation from God, that is Hell for real. Live for Him.
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul:
but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Matthew 10:28
