Jesus’ Warnings

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul:
but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Matthew 10:28

Jesus’ Warnings
Jesus warned of us many things
The bible is full of them
from the prophets of old such as Daniel and Ezekiel, Isaiah and Joel
who all prophesied of the Last Days and The End Times
as well as Jesus Himself who warned us of famines and pestilences and persecution and even death in Matthew 24
all the way to The Revelation of Jesus Christ, given to John,
which is the most famous of the End Times prophecies

Jesus did not tell us things to to scare us, but to prepare us
So that we could ready our hearts and not be taken by surprise
So we would not think He wasn’t watching out for us
or wasn’t loving us if He allowed difficult times or things to happen to us,
so that we would not get deceived
Jesus let us know in advance what will happen

Just like he told the disciples before He would be crucified
He let them know that His Father set up the crucifixion
Jesus chose to drink the cup His father asked him to drink
Jesus did not refuse
We likewise should not refuse
any time the Lord asks things of us,
even the unpleasant things that are about to come upon us,
upon this world

Pray that you are worthy to escape the things about to come on the earth
Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy
to escape all these things that will come to pass,
and to stand before the Son of Ma
n. Luke 21:36

Some people believe and teach that that means
we will be whisked away, rescued
Jesus did not say we would be taken out of the world,
In fact, He said the opposite
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. John 17:15
