There are blocks thrown in our way.
If we are moving forward with the Kingdom of God, there will be obstacles.
Satan will make plans against us.
He will use the willing to thwart us from getting God’s plans accomplished.
Sometimes it is so hard to see the enemy working.
We get shocked by some of his tactics as the people he uses might smile to our faces,
but their desire for us is less than delight.
Our purpose is in the hands of the Lord.
If we carry our cross to do what Jesus asks us to do, we shall glorify Him.
That really is the main purpose of our lives, to glorify Jesus and lift Him up.
Our lives are not for our glory.
We work and toil on many things, but really only one is important and that is our efforts for our God.
Choose the good portion.
But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to Him, and said,
Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone?
bid her therefore that she help me.

But one thing is needful:
and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. Luke 10:40-42
Jesus created us, He loves us with an everlasting love and pushing Him aside is less than respectful.
Jesus should not be left out of anything we do.
