Legalism and Man’s Doctrine Chokes the Word of God

You cannot serve God and Man’s Doctrine.
Never follow a man or a doctrine or a teaching.
Nobody is perfect, except Jesus.
You are not perfect, I am not perfect.
We are to come before the Lord in humility,
to serve the Lord Jesus in humility.
Jesus leads us, He teaches us, constantly
We shall never obtain perfection until we see Him face to face,
when we will be like Him as He will transform us:
Beloved, now are we the sons of God,
and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:
but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him;
for we shall see Him as He is
. 1 John 3:2
Until then, while we dwell on the Earth, amongst the flesh,
we will be imperfect.

At least one verse in The Parable of the Sower is applicable to Man’s Doctrine:
And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it,
and it yielded no fruit
. Mark 4:7

If we follow Humans and their teaching rather than the Holy Spirit,
we are missing it
We are not loving the truth in that case but are following flesh, or worse yet, someone who has been filled with false teaching from the enemy.
Man’s doctrine always has some truth in it.
There are false teachings and doctrines within the Christian religion.
Just like any false teaching in any religion.
They all have counterfeits of Christ and His teachings.
Truth with Error makes Deception.
Looking to anyone, any person or being or philosophy or teaching
will lead you into error, even if it is bible-based.
Becoming familiar with the Word of God, The Holy Bible on our own
is imperative to be able to follow Jesus.
Jesus is His Word.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God
. John 1:1
His word is what we measure others’ teachings by.
Does that teaching bear witness of the word?
Does that teaching point us to strengthen our own relationship with God?
Or does it elevate the teacher and encourage us to follow that teacher?
We must have and develop our own relationship with Jesus as He is Lord
and He is the One whom we should follow after.
A true follower of Christ wants to lead others to Christ,
and to strengthen their relationship with Christ.
To be able to love, recognize, and learn the truth in its fullness.

Jesus never said anywhere in His word to follow after any person.
He did tell many to follow Him. Here are just a few:
And He saith unto them,
Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men. Matthew 4:19
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him,
One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast,
and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come,
take up the cross, and follow Me
. Mark 10:21
If any man serve Me, let him follow Me; and where I am,
there shall also My servant be:
if any man serve Me, him will My Father honour.
John 12:26
Then said Jesus unto His disciples, If any man will come after Me,
let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
Matthew 16:24

Follow Jesus and seek guidance from His Holy Spirit,
the One who bears witness of Jesus always,
not just sometimes, not in the flesh.
Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth:
for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear,
that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come
. John 16:13
The Holy Spirit is a part of God and Jesus sent His Holy Spirit to us
to help us to follow Him and to know the Truth.
