More Talk About Hell

Yesterday, after I posted the writing, Let’s Talk About Hell,
someone responded saying he believes in Annihilation.

Annihilation?
The Bible says the opposite.
This is one of those situations
where loving the truth needs to be submitted to.
Loving the truth is vital, even when you don’t like it.
God does not change.
But let’s look at what the scriptures say about Hell
and if it is everlasting and eternal or if the people just get extinguished.

If we are created in God’s image, the question is:
Can a being created in God’s likeness be killed so that they never existed?
So God created man in His own image,
in the image of God created He him;
male and female created He them
. Genesis 1:27

Hell was not created for man:
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand,
Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil and his angels
: Matthew 25:41

Their torment never stops. It is eternal as are they who go to Hell:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever:
and they have no rest day nor night,
who worship the beast and his image,
and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name
. Revelation 14:11

Mark 9 says several times that the fire and their worm shall be eternal.
This line is there 3 times, “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”, along with other statements that debunk the Annihilation idea:
And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off:
it is better for thee to enter into life maimed,
than having two hands to go into hell,
into the fire that never shall be quenched: v43

Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. v44
And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off:
it is better for thee to enter halt into life,
than having two feet to be cast into hell,
into the fire that never shall be quenched: v45
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. v46
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out:
it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye,
than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: v47
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. v48

The Devil and the Beast and The False Prophet
shall be tormented day and night forever and ever:
And the devil that deceived them
was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone,
where the beast and the false prophet are,
and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Revelation 20:10

This explains the 2nd death:
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers,
and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars,
shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:
which is the second death
. Revelation 21:8

If there are any other scriptures you find that fit in,
you’re always welcome to comment.
