I saw a very short vision this morning
I saw part of a garment
and I saw a female wearing the garment who was not put together
She was quite tattered,
not clean, not pure, and her garment was moth-eaten and soiled
I asked the Lord if she symbolized me
He told me she symbolized the church as a whole
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother,
and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Ephesians 5:30-32
The church is not ready for His return
She has chosen lasciviousness and to join in the celebrations of the flesh
Her garment is spotted and nowhere near prepared
She is not, by any means, adorned for Christ’s return
That he might present it to himself a glorious church,
not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing;
but that it should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:27
Each of us has a responsibility,
not only to live our lives as pure before the Lord,
but also to teach others what it means to live for the Lord,
how to purify ourselves and not to live for our flesh
And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire;
hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Jude 1:23
The church cannot be spotted and cannot be unprepared,
like a foolish virgin having no oil in her lamp
Not only should her garment be clean and lovely
She should be adorned as a bride
Jesus is coming for a pure bride
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem,
coming down from God out of heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Revelation 21:2
This is all spiritual
We cannot see ourselves the way God sees us, unless He shows us
The church is not purified
She is not ready for His return
There is still much work to be done:
Whose fan is in his hand,
and he will throughly purge his floor,
and gather his wheat into the garner;
but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. Matthew 3:12
Pray for your fellow brothers and sisters around the world,
that they would wake up and commit their lives to the Lord in fullness
