But of that day and that hour knoweth no man,
no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left His house,
and gave authority to His servants, and to every man his work,
and commanded the porter to watch.
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh,
at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Lest coming suddenly He find you sleeping.
And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. Mark 13:32-37
It’s interesting that 3 of the 4 gospels carry this warning
And, Mark and Luke were not recounting their experience with Jesus,
they were not there when Jesus spoke these words
His disciples asked Him, privately in Matthew 24:
And as He sat upon the mount of Olives,
the disciples came unto Him privately, saying,
Tell us, when shall these things be?
and what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world? v3
That means it is of utmost importance that we listen and heed this warning
Jesus was talking to His disciples
The other two who wrote the gospels were not there,
Mark and Luke, which means the Holy Spirit gave them these words
to write down to warn us
It is crucial that we hear and heed this important warning
Many will be deceived
For many shall come in my name,
saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:5
There are already mockers
Scoffing, saying they have been predicting the end of the world for years,
even for centuries
The disciples were mindful of The End Times when Jesus walked on the earth
Many today do not believe we are near the end
The wise shall understand
How do you get wisdom?
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom
Then, do all you can to obey His commandments, learn about Him,
listen to Him, let His Holy Spirit lead you and guide you into all truth
and to Love the Truth
above all else that you see or hear or even want to believe
Deception is strong on the Earth right now
We are hearing things that are hard to dispute
Matthew 24 also talks about signs and wonders
That those false Christs and prophets will perform great signs and wonders:
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets,
and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible,
they shall deceive the very elect.
Behold, I have told you before. Matthew 24:23-25
I am not sure what the signs and wonders will be
that these various false Christs and false prophets will perform
If Christ is not glorified, that is as the Risen Savior,
the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, we know it’s false
The Word of God, The Holy Bible is our Litmus Test
The Holy Spirit is our guide
Many will be deceived
If you are not interested in being deceived,
it’s never too early to seek the Lord about not being deceived,
Asking for discernment, learning to recognize deception
It takes humility because casting down vain imaginations is not easy
Casting down imaginations,
and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,
and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
1 Corinthians 10:5
Realizing that His ways are higher
than anything we could possibly come up with,
any scientist, any politician, any preacher, priest,
any spiritual adviser or anyone who seems to know more than you do
Do not get in the habit of getting spiritually fed by certain people,
no matter how great they seem to be
Do not search the doctrines of men, search the Word of God
Drink waters out of thine own cistern,
and running waters out of thine own well. Proverbs 5:15
That is, go straight to the source,
do not accept second-hand what someone else has received from God,
hearing what others have learned from God is good,
but hear from God yourself, get the living water yourself
God will teach you
So, back to the title, No man knows the day nor the hour of Jesus’ return
Let us keep that in mind,
nobody is going to have to tell you when Jesus is here
This is how Jesus will return from Matthew 24:
Wherefore if they shall say unto you,
Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth:
behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. v26
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. v27
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened,
and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven,
and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: v29
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:
and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn,
and they shall see the Son of man coming
in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. v30

Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him,
and they also which pierced Him:
and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him.
