So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

You can’t take scriptures and apply them to yourself without the Holy Spirit
People like to take scriptures and claim them
If God has not given you the scriptures, then it will be futile
We can’t just take any scripture in the Bible and use it how we want
Without the power of the Holy Spirit,
without knowing the Lord has given those to us,
we will be assuming and presuming
If a preacher speaks a scripture, and you want that to be for you,
if The Holy Spirit does not open it up to you, don’t assume
We all need to hear from God ourselves
Don’t eat stale manna
And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning.
Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses;
but some of them left of it until the morning,
and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.
Exodus 16:19-20
My sheep know My voice
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: John 10:27
The time is now that we need to hear from God ourselves,
that we listen and do not seek our answers to come from a human,
a preacher, a writer, a priest, a popular bible teacher,
we all need to cultivate our own relationship with Christ
and not rely on any other humans to give us the answers
we should be asking God for
That does not mean it is bad to listen to preachers,
but if we are not going to the source ourselves, that source being Christ,
we will be in spiritual danger
We all need to have our relationship with God ourselves
We all need to be hearing what the Lord is trying to teach us
Stale manna will not cut it
Give us this day our daily bread as we pray in the Lord’s Prayer
We should not rely on others to hear from God for us
Our own relationship, cultivated and reliant
on our own ability to hear from God,
to be able to learn and grow
and mature in what He has taught us, individually
