Our Big, Huge, Gigantic God

Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand,
and meted out heaven with the span,
and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure,
and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
Isaiah 40:12

Since the Lord fills heaven and earth, He is bigger than we can even imagine
His wisdom is infinite,
His ability to see is much sharper than a microscope
Since He created all things
People spend their entire lives dedicated to
studying one portion of His creation
We are so minute in comparison
His compassion for us who call on Him is beyond measure

Jesus goes before us, that is, those who serve Him, in every circumstance
When our foes rise up against us, they are not fighting us,
they are going up against the most High God:
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge,
even the most High, thy habitation;
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him:
I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him
. Psalm 91:9&15

Let us remember and realize how big God is,
that He fills heaven and earth
Heaven is His throne and the Earth is His footstool
Thus saith the Lord,
The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool:
where is the house that ye build unto me?
and where is the place of my rest?
Isaiah 66:1
The span of Heaven, man has not yet known,
the Universe goes beyond any discovery
Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him?
saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord
. Jeremiah 22:24
And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.
But who is able to build him an house,
seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him?
who am I then, that I should build him an house,
save only to burn sacrifice before him
? 2 Chronicles 2:5-6

He is more majestic that we can imagine,
much larger than we can comprehend
This picture gives an of idea of what we might see when He returns:

But now, O Lord, Thou art our Father; we are the clay, and Thou our Potter; and we all are the work of Thy hand. Isaiah 64:8
