God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
We are on the cusp
If you have not yet learned how to seek refuge in God, now is the time
Perilous Times are very near
It will be difficult to not be affected by what is coming
Even the stronger Christians will be shaken
It will be difficult to see others suffer
We may not have all of our comforts, which may sound frivolous
but without things we are used to, this can be very difficult
and losing our way of life as we know it, will affect us
Safety is of the Lord
He shall cry unto me,
Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. Psalm 89:26
How does one seek refuge in God?
Do all the things you know to do:
read His word,
pray,
fast,
sing to Him,
meditate on His word,
study His word,
make sure your heart is clean before Him,
spend time with His people,
learn more about Him,
find a way to spend time with Jesus even in the midst of turmoil
He will meet you and His Holy Spirit is your comforter
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter,
that he may abide with you for ever; John 14:16
There is no refuge apart from God
He knows exactly what you need
He has all the answers
The best ideas will come from Jesus
He has a way of teaching us
and helping each of us and giving each of us what we need
He is our source, for Everything
