And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee;
for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee. Jeremiah 1:19
I am in a den of lions.
I am certain they don’t even know why they are so angry.
Now there are two of them.
Remember when Joseph’s brothers got so angry at him when he told them his dream?
That is how I feel.
The content is not similar in any way, but the feeling of speaking the truth is similar.
My responsibility?
To forgive, to love them anyway and obey.
The Lord reminded me of the scripture above.
Yesterday, I had the promise that He is fighting for me.
Today, another encouragement: that they shall not prevail.
Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by Me:
whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. Isaiah 54:15
The job that I am in is unto the Lord.
The enemy does not like my work.
Every now and then, he uses his efforts to try to disrupt things.
This time is more severe than others, but he will not prevail.
I have not handled this without fault.
I must keep my hands clean and my heart pure and continue the work He has given me to do.
God is still working on the whole situation and will work it all together for good. (from Romans 8:28)
I am praying for wisdom from the Lord.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not;
and it shall be given him. James 1:5
It is always a beautiful thing when God makes His promises real to us.
