Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight:
but all things are naked and opened

Can’t hide from God
Nothing
He sees it all, He knows it all
Even the conception of a thought
The faintest whisper,
The words told in secret
He knows everything
I don’t know why we ignore that,
I find myself pushing aside things that I’ve said or done at times,
He brings them to my mind so I can be cleansed,
so I can realize how I need some more work done toward His kingdom,
Exposing how I somehow got wrapped up in the flesh
The fleshly heart is so deceitful,
The desire to take God’s glory and give it to ourselves
is something we must battle everyday
It is because we are made in His image and His likeness
So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God created he him;
male and female created he them. Genesis 1:27
and it comes naturally…for the flesh
It’s normal here on earth to make the best of yourself,
to relish in your glory, your accomplishments,
what we have attained through our efforts,
the wonderful people we are,
the admirers we may have,
those who lift us up and think we’re so wonderful,
But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. 2 Corinthians 10:17
how much we help others,
our earthly possessions,
it’s all vanity and worthless
unless we commit each and every effort to the Lord
The heart is deceitful above all things,
and desperately wicked:
who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9
Our hearts stroke our ego
Any section deep inside our hearts
that we have not committed to the Lord
will bring about sin, somehow, someway
Since we are naked and open and nothing is hidden with God,
as long as we commit ourselves to the Lord
and daily take up our cross and do our best to follow Him,
all of it belongs to God, the good, the bad and the ugly
and that is a very comforting thought
