Recognizing the Times and the Seasons

The Times and the Seasons
Jesus told us when He would return
Not the day nor the hour
But the times and the seasons

Now learn a parable of the fig tree;
When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves,
ye know that summer is nigh:
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things,
know that it is near, even at the doors. Matthew 24:32-33

Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation,
and kingdom against kingdom:
And great earthquakes shall be in divers places,
and famines, and pestilences;
and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons,
being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake. Luke 21:10-12

If you’ll notice, Jesus gave signs of the times
Notice that the scripture above says
‘But before all these…’
While that is happening in many parts of the world,
meaning the martyrdom of Christians is increasing
We may not know exactly what He meant when He said that
as things can escalate quickly,
but we know He said ‘before these things’
Martyrdom is becoming commonplace in some countries
People are being killed because they are Christians

Jesus’ return is close
His return is imminent
And He is right at the door
Wickedness is abounding
That was one of Jesus’ warnings for us to watch for

But as the days of Noe were,
so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:37

Another sadness is that Complacency of Christians is increasing
Meshing with the world and even the world religions
Melting their gold and making a Golden Calf to worship
That is another way of falling asleep
as was mentioned in The Parable of the Ten Virgins

Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh,
at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. Mark 13:35-37
