God’s power of reconciliation
Trust in it
If He prompts you to reconcile with someone, do it
To reach out to them, no matter what the circumstances
There is a reason but sometimes time just goes on
Reach out if He puts it in your heart
You never know what can come next
Even if they don’t reciprocate,
your love was sent and maybe that is what God wanted you to do
Sometimes relationships can go dormant
because of a lack of communication,
the busyness of life, illnesses, circumstances, all sorts of reasons
Maybe a twinge of unforgiveness is there, on their part or yours
An incident that occurred to cause a breach, big or small
Whatever the case, trust in God’s power of reconciliation
If you have love in your heart for someone
That is there for a reason
Maybe just so you will pray for them
and earnestly desire that they walk with the Lord Jesus
And above all things have fervent love for one another,
for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8
Walking in love and being open to whom the Lord may remind you of
The harvest is ripe, it may well be,
one of your acquaintances or old friends
are to be gleaned by the Lord through you
If there is forgiveness to be asked of or given,
let God work in that situation
Then came Peter to him, and said,
Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him?
till seven times?
Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times:
but, Until seventy times seven. Matthew 18:21-22
In other words, don’t count, just always forgive
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ,
as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead,
be ye reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20
It may just be God will use you to reconcile them to Himself
once you have reconciled them to yourself
