Rudimentary

We don’t want to be considered rudimentary by God
Man’s doctrine is rudimentary
It is in a neat, little package
Everything has its place
There is no room for new revelations
Everything has been figured out, given a name,
given a reason and a purpose

Religious people have figured out everything
from Creation to Salvation,
from healing to casting out devils,
from life to death,
from good to evil
Some of their thoughts are quite noble
They even might line up with the word of God
They use scriptures
Just like the Pharisees used the law,
so these doctrines are masked by God’s Word

Where is Jesus?
He, too, is in a neat little package
Many will say to me in that day,
Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
and in thy name have cast out devils?
and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them,
I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew 7:22-23

We must seek to know Jesus personally
Knowing all about Jesus will never be enough
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well:
the devils also believe, and tremble
. James 2:19
Even the demons in Hell know who Jesus is and believe in Him

If all things have been figured out,
what is the point of letting God teach you?
Even though Jesus told us that His Holy Spirit is our teacher
and He will lead us and guide us into all truth

Judas is a good example to try to understand
While he was an extreme case of betrayal,
his heart was not with the Lord
Judas walked with Jesus daily, watched Him do many miracles,
listened to His sermons and watched how He loved the people,
yet He never knew Jesus, if he had, he never would have betrayed Him

Jesus gives us many commands and each of us must fear God
and make sure we are on the straight and narrow road
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness
shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees,
ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven
. Matthew 5:20
The Pharisees must’ve thought
they were going to stand before God with high honors,
but they are the ones who delivered Jesus up to crucify Him,
to shut Him up, to stop His ministry

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men:
for ye neither go in yourselves,
neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in
. Matthew 21:13

What about the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is hindered by these seemingly noble teachers of doctrine
They have the control and tell others how it should be
The Holy Spirit is not given freedom
The Holy Spirit should be given freedom in each of our lives
He is only allowed to do as their doctrine allows
Bondages
Constraints

If you have ever felt the Holy Spirit directing you,
you also might not always know why you feel His presence
It could be He just wants you to know He’s there, He’s listening
He may be asking something of you, about to give you a word,
or a scripture or a direction, to remind you to forgive someone,
to reach out to someone, to pray for a specific purpose
If all things have been figured out,
what is the point of letting God teach you?
Even though Jesus told us that His Holy Spirit is our teacher
and He will lead us and guide us into all truth
It is in us not having control, but letting Him be in charge,
that we will not quench His Spirit
It also becomes second nature, the more you get to know Him
We serve a Living God

Those who are controlled by Man’s Doctrine are not open to that
They refuse to relinquish control,
this is why they do not experience Jesus as He is,
but instead, revert back to that nice, neat little package
they have wrapped God in
Jesus fills Heaven and Earth
He is not constrained
Getting to know Him is an amazing experience
And it is far from rudimentary

Additional Scriptures:

Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come,
He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself;
but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak:
and He will shew you things to come.
John 16:13

Quench not the Spirit.
1 Thessalonians 5:19

Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him?
saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
Jermiah 23:24

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight:
but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him
with whom we have to do.
Hebrews 4:13
