Safety is of the Lord.
The horse is prepared against the day of battle:
but safety is of the Lord. Proverbs 21:31
In other words, Safety is from the Lord.
He is the One who provides safety, protection.
The battle belongs to Jesus.
When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies,
and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou,
be not afraid of them: for the Lord thy God is with thee,
which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. Deuteronomy 20:1
It is good to prepare, but ultimately,
He is the One who protects us and fights for us.
If we trust in anything other than the Lord Jesus,
we are going to be left high and dry.
The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. Psalm 121:5-6
In this hour of difficulty our world is facing, follow His leading,
but do not trust in anything you have done.
The Lord is your stay.
He is the One who will see you through.
He directs your steps.
Ask for wisdom and do what He shows you,
then trust Him, lean on Him, rely on Him.
With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God,
to help us and to fight our battles.
And the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
2 Chronicles 32:8
