Seal the Breaches in Yourself

We are God’s temple
If we have any openings, any occasion for the devil to attack, he will
Keep your heart clean, keep your tongue guarded
Don’t mingle with sin in any way
Ask for forgiveness, and strength and repent if you do
Seal the breaches

But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah,
and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites,
heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up,
and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth.
And conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to hinder it.
Nehemiah 4:7-8

We live on a planet where a spiritual war is ongoing
They held weapons in their hands
while they were rebuilding the wall in Jerusalem
They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens,
with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon
. Nehemiah 4:1

We are not able to see the spiritual war, just its effects
We cannot understand with our natural minds
Most of our understanding happens as we grow in the Lord,
some people have the gift of discernment from the Holy Spirit:
To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy;
to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues;
to another the interpretation of tongues:
1 Corinthians 12:10

The building of the wall continued against much opposition
So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work. Nehemiah 4:6
And they prayed and continued their efforts together
to protect the work of the Lord
Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God,
and set a watch against them day and night, because of them
. Nehemiah 4:9
They finally succeed
They did not give up but kept on working together,
each doing his part until the wall was built
So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul,
in fifty and two days.
Nehemiah 6:15

Inspiring
Let us do the same with the work the Lord has given us to do
