Humility
Realizing that we’re not all that
That we can’t clean our own hands and our own hearts
It is done by God and God alone
First, we submit to His authority and allow Him to reveal our sin to us,
then, we accept that the blood that was shed for us on Calvary
And the reconciliation to the Father through Jesus Christ our Lord
If we have sin, hidden, that we are refusing to offer to the Father,
we are in a negative place
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord:
though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;
though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18
Agree with God
Let Him cleanse you
Remember when Jesus said to Peter, If I wash you not,
you have no part with me?
Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet.
Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. John 13:8
Jesus is the only way to the Father and the only way to be cleansed from sin
Allow Him to cleanse you and to help you walk with Him in cleanness
