If you feel like you are being blocked from serving the Lord, go the other direction.
God opens doors that no man can shut and shuts doors no man can open.
And the key of the house of David will I lay upon His shoulder; so He shall open, and none shall shut;
and He shall shut, and none shall open. Isaiah 22:22
If there is a barrier, you can pray or even battle and that could be the answer.
If you aren’t seeing God’s blessings, look to where you do see them.
The terrain is rough sometimes on our journey to the End.
That is not a bad thing. It is part of the efforts the Lord requires of us to see if we are faithful.
He warned us of trials and tribulations.
He also said He has overcome them and for us to be glad.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33
Jesus told us to rejoice when we are persecuted.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven:
for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Matthew 5:12
In Luke it says, “Leap for joy!”
Servitude to the Lord Jesus Christ is an honor.
Sometimes the things He asks us to do can seem to be beneath us.
Obedience is better than sacrifice.
Those people we consider unworthy people that He wants us to serve can be difficult.
Love them anyway and be a servant as Jesus instructed us to be.
Our vain imaginations get in the way. We should let Christ’s mind be in us.
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,
and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:5
If we remain humble before God and obey when He asks us to be servants to humans,
we are doing our servitude as He leads.
Extending love and kindness is always part of what He has asked us to do, so when we fail in those,
seek Him for His strength because it can be very difficult to love some people, especially our enemies.
But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. Matthew 23:11
