For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice,
and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven;
they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
Zerubbabel 4:10
When God gives you a task, it can seem insurmountable.
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much:
and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. Luke 16:10
If we are faithful to Him, He will give us the increase.
I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:6
Jesus tells of the ones who are faithful to what the Lord has given them in the Parable of the Talents
His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant;
thou hast been faithful over a few things,
I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Matthew 25:23
When we are obedient to what the Lord has given us, we will be rewarded.
Do not despise small beginnings.
Whatever you do unto the Lord will reap great rewards.
He gives us what He has for us to do.
It is up to us to be faithful to Him and to honor Him with our talents.
We use our talents not unto men,
but unto God and God blesses how He sees fit.
It is our duty and our honor to give Jesus the glory
and to let Him increase as He chooses.
For us to be admired for what Jesus has given us is offensive to God.
This way, we can freely give to the Lord and to others in His name
and this will be pleasing in God’s sight.
Do not measure your work by the world’s standards.
He will bless the work of our hands, which takes the pressure off for us.
Let God have the honor and it will remain with Him.
