I heard a man on YouTube who wanted to be worshiped.
He excused himself from sin and then compared himself to King David
and a few other bible characters who had sinned against the Lord.
He said, “If you condemn me to Hell,
you will have to condemn all these people to Hell as well.”
We have no right to condemn anyone to Hell,
nor do we have the right to elevate them to Heaven.
There was no humility in his sin.
He had succumb to sin and it was available for all to see.
Many condemned him for what he had done.
He lifted himself up to the level of these people in the bible who had sinned, one after another.
Some had repented to the Lord, others had not.
But repentance wasn’t his point,
his point was that they were all just the same as he was
and they were considered wonderful characters in the bible.
And, he considered himself a wonderful person as well.
I had a question for him, which he never answered: Where is your humility?
I had an exchange with another “Man of God”.
I’m not convinced he is a man of God.
I thought he was.
He had a dream, quite a few years ago, which was a very powerful dream
from God with a very powerful message about forgiveness.
I visited his facebook page.
There was a post on his page about a YouTube personality and preacher
who called himself Prophet Lovy.
I had not yet looked into the person Prophet Lovy at that point,
but I mentioned in this facebook post that Jesus told us to follow Him,
not a man.
Jesus never instructed us to follow a person.
The page author did not like that.
He said Jesus was a man.
He did not like that I had said to seek God.
He said it was good to follow godly men.
There is quite a difference between following Jesus and following a man.
It simply means that Jesus is the One to whom preeminence belongs.
We are to weigh all things taught by Jesus’ word
and are to let the Holy Spirit lead us and guide us into all truth.
Any man, at any time, can fall into error.
We always must be active in seeking God
and not relying on anyone else to hear from God for us,
including people who call themselves prophets.
The rebuke I received from this man who had had this powerful dream
made me extremely sad.
I was not expecting such a negative reaction from him.
I thought he walked in the truth and followed Jesus.
I had been very careful and had prayerfully answered
a few comments on his page with concerns I had.
He said that his page was not for me.
I wholeheartedly agreed because he is walking in error.
I have been praying for several days now about this exchange.
I have been asking the Lord how could this man,
who had this powerful dream, be so misled?
I remembered in his original dream video that he said he prayed
that the Lord would give him and out of body experience.
The Lord gave him what he asked for.
Remember, Solomon asked for wisdom? and Solomon fell away.
If you read the Psalms, you will see David over and over sought the Lord.
He did not seek anything but what the Lord wanted to give him.
He did not seek dreams or visions or miracles.
King David sought God, Jesus, the Great I Am, Adonai.
I believe God did give this man in the YouTube video that powerful dream.
He seemed to have hung his hat on his dreams.
I have followed him on YouTube loosely for several years now,
to see what else he might have been given by the Lord.
At this point, he does not appear to be following the Lord Jesus,
but other things or people.
He will meet Jesus face to face and answer for each deed,
each word, and each effort he has or has not made for the Lord.
We all will.
This situation is a reminder to each of us to keep seeking the Lord.
Don’t go off the path for anyone or anything.
This Prophet Lovy, I have not researched much.
I visited his webpage and he has a whole section about meditation.
That was a red flag to me.
I will probably not research this man further.
I am always alarmed when people call themselves Prophets or Prophetesses.
A true prophet does not add that to their name for honor from people.
If they are a prophet, their words will come to pass
and will be confirmed by other prophets.
The only One who deserves any glory is God alone.
The only thing the prophet needs to be concerned with
is that the Lord’s word goes forth.
I cannot stress enough that we must Love the Truth.
Love the truth and submit to the Truth.
If we do not, God will send a strong delusion to us
and we will believe what is false.
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;
because they received not the love of the truth,
that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion,
that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth,
but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12
