Standing Alone with God

There will be times when it feels like you are the only one
Like you are an island
It will feel like there is nobody there for you but God
Surely He is the only One who completely understands how you feel
He was alone when He was preparing for the cross
He wanted the disciples to be there for Him
but, alas, they fell asleep
And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep,
and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?
Matthew 26:40
Then this same Peter, one of His closest disciples, denied Him

Who was at the cross with Him?
Only these people, of all the people He knew,
were mentioned and there with Jesus at His crucifixion
to support Him and love Him:
Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother,
and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas,
and Mary Magdalene.
When Jesus therefore saw his mother,
and the disciple standing by, whom he loved,
he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son
!
Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother!
And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. John 19:25-27

Jesus was alone for great chunks of time
but when he needed them, He had some faithful ones
who were given to Him to love Him and support Him
Jesus is our source, Jehovahjireh Genesis 22:14
God will give us who and what we need
If we need people, He will provide people,
He will provide whatever we need

Being alone will be a part of our walk
Jesus said, I will never leave you nor forsake you
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not,
nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God,
he it is that doth go with thee;
he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee
. Deuteronomy 31:6

As we go forward into The End Times,
we may feel we are standing alone with God
We also have a command to fulfill to the best of our ability
which is to not forsake the gathering together
I believe this is for comradery and to strengthen each other,
to support others in Christ’s name

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together,
as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another:
and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Hebrews 10:25

This may be difficult at times if we are betrayed
Jesus warned us of betrayal:
And then shall many be offended,
and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another
. Matthew 24:10
Look to Him and let Him provide the people we need
to love us and support us
our comforter, the Holy Spirit will be just that, our comforter
