Staying Close to God

Remember Daniel prayed 3x a day? (Daniel 6:10)
He went into his house and prayed and made time in his day for God
It is a good way to remind yourself of who God is
by taking time out of your day to remember Him
We are encouraged in the word to be meditating on the Lord all day long
Thinking of His precepts, His word (Psalm 119:97)
Considering His ways
Asking for Him to search and try our hearts (Psalm 139:23)
to cleanse our hearts (Psalm 51:10)
Singing and making melody in our hearts to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19)
Keeping our lamps filled with oil (Matthew 25:1-13)
Looking to Him, the Author and Finisher of our Faith (Hebrews 12:2)
When the Son of Man returns, will He find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8)
Seeking His face (Psalm 27:8)
Trusting Him (Proverbs 3:5&6)
Drawing on His strength (2 Corinthians 12:9)
Loving our enemies (Matthew 5:44)
Forgiving offenses (Matthew 6:15)
Remaining armed with His precepts, His word (Ephesians 6:11)
Battling evil (Matthew 10:1)
Becoming one with Him (John 17:22)
Loving others and so fulfilling the law of Christ (Mark 12:31) & (Galatians 6:2)
God/s eyes roam to and fro throughout the earth that He May strongly support those whose hearts are perfect toward Him (2 Chronicles 16:9)
That perfection is not found because we are special but because He is God
He considers those who seek Him earnestly perfect before Him (Matthew 5:48)
He will restore you to Himself
Thou your sin be as scarlet, I will wash you white as snow (Isaiah 1:18)
If you seek to please Him, He will honor your desires (Psalm 37:4)
He will answer your prayers and clothe you with righteousness (Isaiah 61:10)
Remember Him every moment, with every thought
Consider His word Truth and He will be close to you and you to Him (James 4:8)
