Stick to Jesus like glue
Rest your head on His chest like John did
Wake him up when you’re afraid
Listen to Him
Sing to Him
Let His word dwell in your heart richly
Don’t give up on Him if He’s not quick enough
Give Him your trust when things get hard
Let Him have His way when you want yours
Your heart will be in His hands if you put it there
Jesus won’t change on you
He stays the same
Year after year, century after century,
He is the same since the beginning of time
In fact, He is the Beginning and the End
He has it all planned out
He knows each day, each moment
He keeps those who trust in Him close at hand
As you march upward toward the end,
toward the end of your time on earth
He stands at the finish line,
waiting to receive you with much appreciation for all you have done for Him
He will reward any and all acts done in His name
He knows choosing Him instead of this world takes faith and dedication
No one knows that more than Jesus Himself
Take His hand and let His Holy Spirit accompany you
as you complete your journey,
as you complete your tasks for Him along the way
Always remember when you do something for the least of these,
you have done it for Him
Love, forgive, bless and encourage others along the way
Gather the weak and wounded in your arms
and persuade others to march toward their callings
This is not a contest, but an honor to serve Him in all that we do
And that is the greatest gift we can give Him,
to be His servants and obey with His love in our hearts
Reach those you can
Commit the others into His hands
And keep going onward and upward to complete your journey
and to receive your prize which can only be imagined
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard,
neither have entered into the heart of man,
the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9
