Super Spirituality is haughtiness in the things of God
The Attitude of Super Spirituality:
I know the word
I can do all things through God
It is, as it were, working alongside God as His equal
No humility
No fear of God because they are sure they are right about everything
They say God has given them what they think they need
They will quote scriptures out of His word
They will say God has given me all power
to tread on all the power of the enemy
I can do miracles in the name of Jesus
They are the focus
because they believe they already received the power from God
Where is their humility?
Who is being glorified?
If Jesus is being glorified, there is no problem
Jesus does indeed endow us with power from on high with His Holy Spirit
When we follow Him, when He decides we are able
He deserves all the glory
He must be the focus
Jesus should always be the focus
Nobody else deserves any notoriety, no matter how great they are
The truth is, Jesus is the One we want to elevate, to lift up,
not ourselves, not any human being neither any angel or any miracle either,
Just Jesus
Many will say to Me in that day,
Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name?
and in Thy name have cast out devils?
and in Thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them,
I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:22-23
