And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
2 Chronicles 20:15
If the Lord gives us a task, gives us faith for something, He will see it through. We often think we have to do this or that. While it is true we need to be obedient, when God has purposed something and chosen you as a vessel to complete it, it is His. He will direct you for your part and He will see it through.
If you ever forget all the wonderful things God has done, read Psalm 136. His mercy endureth forever.
Jesus is our source
He is our Rock
He is our Comforter,
our Guide,
our Strength,
our Savior,
our King,
our Righteousness
He is always there for us
He will never leave us nor forsake us
If He purposes something in your heart and you know it is from Him,
He will give you what you need to see it through
He will supply for you,
He will direct you
He will fortify you
He will bless you
You will have nothing to fear in trusting Him and being obedient to Him
The second you take it from His hands,
all bets are off,
keep it in his hands, and you can rely on His direction
He is our captain, the ruler of our hearts
The One we can rely on
We surely can’t rely on ourselves to know all, to see all
He knows the end from the beginning and when He has purposed something
He will bring it to pass
Can we interfere?
Yes, absolutely, we can interfere with His will
That does not mean He will not override us,
but it’s much better to be on His side
Which is why it’s so important to constantly seek Him and listen and follow
We don’t want to get in His way
Forgive, love, do all the things that God commanded us
Keeping our hearts clean before His throne,
doing the best we can to be in sync with Him
He will fight for us
The Battle is the Lord’s
