The darkness must bow to Jesus the Christ, our soon coming King.
When Jesus is lifted up, He will draw all men to Him.
It is a sin to be afraid of darkness.
That is the equivalent of not trusting and believing that God is more powerful.
We humans are not more powerful. Power belongs to our God.
We cannot fight evil on our own or protect ourselves from evil.
Evil is out of our hands.
Darkness has some worshipers,
those who follow the idols and serve other gods.
There are those who are afraid of darkness or evil.
We are not to fear anything or anyone but God Himself.
We should not participate in any sort of darkness
and we are told to keep our distance and our hands clean,
Satan can gain followers by manipulation and trickery.
If we give the idols any credence whatsoever,
that is, to acknowledge that they have power over us, that is offensive to God. And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying,
If ye do return unto the Lord with all your hearts,
then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you,
and prepare your hearts unto the Lord, and serve Him only:
and He will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines. 1 Samuel 7:3
What if David had been afraid of Goliath?
What if Moses had been afraid of Pharaoh?
What Daniel had been afraid of the King’s top men?
What if Paul had been afraid of the men telling him not to preach the gospel?
What if Jesus had been afraid of death?
As long as you are being led by the Holy Spirit, He will fight for you.
Just be sure you are really being led by the Holy Spirit
and don’t run ahead of God.
