The First Fruits of Your Time

Honor the Lord from your wealth
And from the first of all your produce; Proverbs 3:9

When you arise
Give God your first fruits of the morning
Before you do anything else
Spend a little time with Him
Before you start the rush of your day
Or before the cares of this world take ahold of your mind

Secure a spot at his throne
Humble yourself
And realize who He is
What an awesome and wonderful God He is:
Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand,
and meted out heaven with the span,
and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure,
and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? Isaiah 40:12
Who created the universe
Who is worthy of your time,
Even the first fruits of your time
Make a pact with Him
And stick to it
Better is it that thou shouldest not vow,
than that thou shouldest vow and not pay. Ecclesiastes 5:5
Listen
Hear
Understand
Seek
Knock
Let Him change you,
renew you

Can a woman forget her nursing child
And have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. Isaiah 49:15

Let Him cover you like a blanket and protect you from the cares of the world
Synchronize with His marvelous grace as it is on your life
Reach out, He is there
His ears are listening to your every prayer,
He can hear your heart beating, your every breath,
He looks on your heart
Not on what you’ve done or haven’t done
He sees way, deep down inside and knows what ails you
as well as your most secret desires
Richness and fullness of life are in His hands

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalm 16:11

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;
To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna,
and will give him a white stone,
and in the stone a new name written,
which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. Revelation 2:17
Let Him give you your fresh manna from heaven,
who is Jesus Christ Himself
and fill you up for the day as you offer Him the first fruits of your time
