The Kingdom of Heaven is a spiritual kingdom, not an earthly one
Not everyone can realize that
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. Matthew 13:11
While the Kingdom of Heaven is hidden from some,
for us who are redeemed, it is right there,
right here,
where we are,
in us
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:21

Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
Proverbs 2:3-5
Seek heavenly treasures such as:
Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Peace, Love…
Earthen riches are futile
We may be given them to enjoy and to use them for His glory
but woe unto us if we cling to them instead of Him
Earthly treasures are momentary in pleasure and fulfillment
They will not satisfy
The rich man valued his riches over Heavenly ones
Solomon chose Wisdom above Earthly riches
The Rulers in Jesus’ time were so concerned
about Jesus taking their earthly Kingdoms
Jesus was not interested
The Kingdom of Heaven is not temporal
There will be a time when Earthly kingdoms will waste away:
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 11:15

And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead. Now, O Lord God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?
And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like. 2 Chronicles 1:7-12
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
