There is a Christian lady on twitter.
She seems nice enough, seems to follow the Lord and speaks of Him often.
She mentioned an episode she loved on The Chosen.
I responded that they do not follow the same Jesus
and they have created another Jesus in their show.
She responded verbatim:
“I don’t claim it’s completely biblically accurate because it’s not. Many story lines written in to pull it all together. But I am strong in my faith and turn to the word myself. It’s doesn’t change the fact that it’s a beautiful show.”
Yes, ma’am, Satan appears as an angel of light.
The more I thought about her response, that she knows it is not biblically
sound but she chooses to watch it anyway was putrid to me.
I do not want to engage with someone who chooses to follow a false Christ.
To me, that would be like me touching the unclean thing
or comforting her in her sin. Not gonna happen.
Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing;
go ye out of the midst of her;
be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord. Isaiah 52:11
We are bearers of the Holy Spirit. We have a responsibility to remain pure.
She claimed she is strong in her faith so it’s okay to dabble in deception.
Really?
She is in a scary place.
I let her know that I do not want to walk with someone
who has chosen to embrace deception.
In these End Times, we are to be more sanctified,
more set apart with the Lord than ever before.
There might be entertainment that is enjoyable for the flesh,
but that does not mean we should support it by boosting the ratings
or to share with others who may not be strong in their faith.
We should not give sin or error any credence whatsoever.
Make your choices carefully.
Whenever we choose to follow the Lord instead of our lusts,
we will be rewarded by Him.
Maybe it’s not sin to her?
If she is going astray from the truth, I need to be careful.
It’s one thing if she did not know the bible or doesn’t know it is off.
She knows but does not care. She thinks it’s fine to watch it.
There is a difference.
This twitter person knows and is refusing to acknowledge
that the error can harm her.
Sounds like the father of lies and his old tricks:
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof,
then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods,
knowing good and evil.
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food,
and that it was pleasant to the eyes,
and a tree to be desired to make one wise,
she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat,
and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. Genesis 3:4-6
That is a scary place to be.
I prayed for her, but all of this is her choice.
I am moving on and continuing to following Jesus.
