I never get tired of hearing that the Lord helps us with our troubles.
It seems there are so many coming at us all the time.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. Psalm 34:19
The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. Psalm 34:17
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. Psalm 34:6
The psalmist was speaking of himself: this poor man.
The Lord delivers the righteous from all afflictions. All of them.
If the Lord considers you righteous, He is going to work tirelessly on your behalf.
Considering yourself righteous does not give you rights of righteousness.
Our righteousness is as filthy rags.
When the Lord sees humility and fear of Him and turning from evil,
and accepting Jesus cleansing blood for our sins, He will be gracious.
The Lord redeemeth the soul of His servants:
and none of them that trust in Him shall be desolate. Psalm 34:22
This all reminds me of Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to His purpose.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33
I had a friend who has since passed away.
Whenever I told her of my struggles, she said something to the effect
that problems are part of being in the world.
It seems there is no end to tribulations or trials.
Rest assured, the Lord delivers us from them all.
