This is the one to whom the Lord looks:
For all those things hath Mine hand made,
and all those things have been, saith the Lord:
but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit,
and trembleth at My word. Isaiah 66:2
The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon Him,
to all that call upon Him in truth. Psalm 145:18
Jesus is near
He hears our every word, knows our every thought
Nothing is hidden from God
He sees it all and knows it all
He knows our intentions, our motives,
and our innermost thoughts and feelings
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight:
but all things are naked and opened
unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. Hebrews 4:13
Hiding your thoughts from Jesus is not going to work
Ignoring the foul ideas you have or trying to push them down
to hide them with your own strength and might will accomplish nothing
All of our efforts to take care of our sin,
those things that stand in between us and God
are not able to be cleansed without His sanctification, His blood
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace,
that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16
Think of those things that offend God as a humbling act on your part
Ask Him to cleanse them from you
God is faithful
He knows our weaknesses and our struggles and that we are mere mortals
We are not able to cleanse ourselves
