Some people study the stars
Both in a physical sense as in space and galaxies and constellations,
shooting stars, what they are made of
Others study the stars as in Astrology,
loving creation rather than the Creator
And some of us study the Maker of the Stars
Look at Orion’s Belt:
Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades,
or loose the bands of Orion? Job 38:31
Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion,
and turneth the shadow of death into the morning,
and maketh the day dark with night:
that calleth for the waters of the sea,
and poureth them out upon the face of the earth:
The Lord is his name: Amos 5:8
The same God Who made the Heavens and the Earth
made you and He made me
It is with that awe and wonder of our Creator
that Orion’s Belt is still in its place in space
from the time those verses were written centuries ago
We are so insignificant on our own
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight:
but all things are naked and opened
unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. Hebrews 4:13
But never a moment goes by where we are not on Jesus’ mind
I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me. Song of Solomon 7:10
So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for He is thy Lord;
and worship thou Him. Psalm 45:11
The beauty He sees in us is His holiness in us,
that which we have allowed Him to cleanse and purify
It is amazing that we serve the Creator of the Universe,
and we can know the Maker of the stars, personally
