The Marvelous Wonders of God

Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades,
or loose the bands of Orion? Job 38:31

Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion,
and turneth the shadow of death into the morning,
and maketh the day dark with night:
that calleth for the waters of the sea,
and poureth them out upon the face of the earth:
The Lord is His name: Amos 5:8

I saw Orion’s Belt in the night sky
The Lord referred to it when He spoke to Job
I marvel at God’s creation

The way the gravity pulls, the perfect distance from the sun
The vapor, the air, the water, the depth of the sea
The planets, some we can see with the naked eye
The stars, the constellations, distinct shapes that fill the sky
The breath of life, how each and every creature
is made with such an array of intricate details that allow for its survival
And all with purpose

We serve a marvelous God, His wonderous works go on forever
His creation is for us to enjoy and relish in
as long as we do not put any of it before Him
Our God’s marvelous works are beyond description
and He is most wonderful to know
