Don’t take it lightly.
Speak it as much as you are led by the Holy Spirit.
He opens doors of hearts to receive, and sometimes to those who reject.
The more you read God’s word and meditate on it,
the more it will become a part of you.
Jesus is the word who became flesh and dwelt among us,
full of grace and truth.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth. John 1:14
Go about your day bearing seeds, the seeds of God’s word.
For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven,
and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth,
and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower,
and bread to the eater:
So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth:
it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:10-11
One human plants and another waters, but God gives the increase.
We may be happy to hear another grasp His word.
There is nothing we should hope to gain, no reward, nor should we seek one.
We will receive a reward from the Lord Jesus one day
for all we have done for Him,
unless we flaunted our works and have received our reward already.
Some will accept it, some will reject it
or grow tired of it because of the cares of the world.
Just like the parable of the sower in Matthew 13
Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. v 9
Not everyone can hear.
But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. v 16
So, sow and spread the word and let it fall where it may
and let the Lord cause it to grow in those hearts who hear it.
