The right hand of the Lord is exalted:
the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly. Psalm 118:16
You would think God is ambidextrous.
Maybe He is, but His right hand has great significance in the scriptures:
Jesus is seated at the Right hand of the Father.
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them,
He was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. Mark 16:19
When Stephen was wrongly considered a betrayer of the faith,
and he was about to be killed, he saw Jesus at the right hand of God:
But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven,
and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened,
and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Acts 7:55-56
When God is sorting the good from the bad, the sheep go to the right.
And He shall set the sheep on His right hand,
but the goats on the left. Matthew 25:33
God’s right hand seems to signify power.
One of the many times we are reminded to not fear:
For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee,
Fear not; I will help thee. Isaiah 41:13
Jesus is majestic here. He has seven stars in His right hand.
The, Jesus laid His right hand on John the Revelator and said,
‘Fear not; I am the first and the last.’
And He had in His right hand seven stars:
and out of His mouth went a sharp twoedged sword:
and His countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead.
And He laid His right hand upon me, saying unto me,
Fear not; I am the first and the last: Revelation 1:16-17
The only thing that clearly stands out to me is that God’s right hand represents power and authority and honor to Jesus.
Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power:
Thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy. Exodus 15:6
There are more scriptures and there may be more meanings.
Sometimes, just learning about God and noticing specifics
may be more significant later as He increases our understanding.
Or, you may have been given other insights.
