The First Blessing is the one I always think of.
If we read the Book of Revelation and apply it, we will be blessed.
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy,
and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Revelation 1:3
The Second Blessing is:
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me,
Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth:
Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Revelation 14:13
Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord.
There is a time coming when those who are martyred for the Lord will rest from their labors
and their works will be rewarded on the appointed day.
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed,
ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
1 Peter 4:14
The Third Blessing mentioned is something Jesus told the disciples
and that He mentioned when He was giving warnings about what will happen at The End of Time.
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked,
and they see his shame.
Revelation 16:15
We are also reminded of the same idea when Jesus told the Parable of the Ten Virgins in Matthew 25,
5 were wise and 5 were foolish. The foolish were unprepared.
Jesus reminds us again that He will come when we least expect it, like a thief in the night.
We must watch. Watch and pray and live like His return is nigh.
In Matthew 24, Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. v 42
The Fourth Blessing mentioned is near the end of the Book of Revelation:
And He saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And He saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Revelation 19:9
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb is going to be the ultimate of celebration meals.
I suspect it will be the most spectacular festivity and feast that anyone could imagine,
and even much better than that.
This is our welcoming into the Kingdom when God finally has all of His body together in one place,
to have finally arrived for the end of the accomplishments from life on Earth,
and a new beginning of Eternity in its fulness with our Savior and Risen Lord.
There are scriptures that remind us of the Bride of Christ and His love for His people
who have been chosen by Him and who have chosen to follow Him.
This Marriage Supper of the Lamb signifies much more than can be written here.
The Fifth Blessing
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
Revelation 20:6
Sometimes scriptures are hard to understand. We might know there is more meaning than we comprehend at the moment. If we are raised with Christ, the second death has no power.
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound,
and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:52
It is difficult to imagine ourselves reigning with Christ for a thousand years.
We have that to look forward to and we know:
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Matthew 24:35
The Sixth Blessing:
Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
Revelation 22:7
Very straightforward. Jesus says again, I come quickly.
Then, He tells us we are blessed if we keep the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
Clear and clean, simply stated.
This is the second time He refers to keeping the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
The first time was the first blessing in the first chapter.
Here is the Seventh Blessing:
Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life,
and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:14
If we keep His commandments, we may have the right to the Tree of Life,
that very tree that humans are not able to eat while in this sinful world or the sin would live as well.
Those who eat of that tree will live forever with Christ.
