I vacuumed and dusted and cleaned with vinegar and put down some Boric Acid and spider traps. I still haven’t caught any spiders and it has been 7 days since I got the two bites.
They were quite ferocious. They swelled and they hardened and itched like crazy and became reddened and caused a rash. I took antihistamines to fight any allergic reaction and the poison is still bothersome causing itching and redness.
I decided to stay away from the place where I was bitten. I am not planning to go back there until I catch at least one large spider.
To continue the parable of the spider being similar to sin.
If I do not want to be affected by sin,
I need to stay away from it, from where it lives,
where it spends its time. I’m staying away, far away.
And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee:
for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish,
and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. Matthew 5:30
That is what Jesus taught us to do with sin. Cut it off. Stay away from it.
Leave it alone, don’t spend time with it, don’t let it touch you.
That is my favorite place to sit. But until I know that spider is dead and gone,
I’m not going back.
