Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Matthew 7:21
What is the will of the Father?
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him,
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Matthew 22:36-39
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Matthew 22:40
In other words, these two commandments are complete in that they cover everything.
They cover all of God’s will for us and for us to love God first of all and also our fellow humans.
Following those two commandments is the will of the Father.
