The Word of God is Powerful
For the word of God is quick, and powerful,
and sharper than any twoedged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,
and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
We serve a Living God who is alive, whose word is alive
Jesus is the Word
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by Him;
and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness;
and the darkness comprehended it not. John 1:1-5
So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed. Acts 19:20
I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:6
Never take glory from Jesus
Don’t pat yourself on the back
Don’t say what wonderous things you have done
God gives the increase
All scripture is inspired by God
I found this out when I was younger
I would read the word when I was afraid
I came from a lot of darkness
No matter where I read in the word, the fear subsided
