This is the Way
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying,
This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand,
and when ye turn to the left. Isaiah 30:21
That scripture shows us that we will not always know which way to go
That is why it is crucial to be close to the Lord,
otherwise, it will be easy to make a wrong turn
This is God’s mercy on us
When we are feeling unsure about anything in our lives, look to Him
Listen for Jesus’ voice
He will make clear the direction He wants you to go
Sometimes the answer may not come instantaneously,
but it will be known to you
Sometimes it may take a while
Seeking Him and trusting Him and being patient for the answer is faith
Remembering to look for His will, not our own
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in Earth as it is in Heaven
Many times in the Bible,
God’s people had to walk by faith and not by sight
Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. John 14:6
The Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you into all truth
If you try to imagine the narrow road that not many choose,
it has distractions of the world and of false teachings trying to beckon us
We can be led astray or get us off track if we are not keeping our focus
That’s part of the deal,
walking with Jesus, carrying our cross, daily,
turning our backs on the world and following Him instead
Our reward will be great for each and every task we accomplish,
that He has asked of us,
that He has prompted us to do
As when we do this unto the least of these,
we have done it for Him
He is the most excellent Way and the only Way to the Father
