They say when God closes a window,
He opens a door
I’d say that is true
It’s also true if He allows your whole life to be dissolved as you know it
Look at Job, he lost it all,
the only thing, or I should say person, who was not taken from him was his wife and even she gave up on him
Then he was restored double
This world is not our home but we still have to live here
Paul tells us to get along with others the best we can,
as much as it is possible
We don’t have the same goals as our fellow earthlings
As the days get more evil, this will be more so the case
God taught me long ago to look for His blessings
When He removes something or sometimes a series of things,
He is sending blessings that I need to look for and find
We can’t always see them because we continue
to look where we want them to be, where we think they should be
Maybe we are pleading for Him to fix the broken pieces
while what He is really trying to say is:
“That is gone, It’s over, walk this way and I will show you what I have.”
We will sit in our ashes and pour them on our head,
part of the grieving process, I suppose,
but when we hand Him those ashes, He May restore them
or He May take them forever
and then give us something more substantive in their place
We cannot see the future
We know we are not to treasure things of the world
This can be position,
power,
money,
or a host of other things far too numerous to mention
Let them go
Give them to Jesus the Christ Who doeth all things well,
Who only doeth wonderous things
Commit thy way unto the Lord and He shall bring it to pass
Why are we here?
We are only given days on earth to glorify Him
Seek His face
Fast,
pray,
sing a new song unto Him
Thank Him for revealing Himself to us
True riches
Paul said I have learned in all things to be content
That is a very tough lesson
Who can attain that?
Sounds like Paul did
Not sure most of us living in this time could say that honestly
Where do we go from here?
I’d caution you
that living on this planet with these Godless people will get harder
and worse
We are not going to be swept away until He returns
We’ll go at the last trumpet in Revelation
We will be here unless Jesus takes us by death beforehand
Buckle up, be prepared to endure to the end like Jesus said
and teach and prepare others to do the same
We don’t have much time, beloved brothers and sisters,
not much time to prepare
Focus on Him
Occupy until He comes
Don’t get distracted
Find your niche that may feel like a moving target,
in this ever-changing world
Remember Jesus had nowhere to lay His head
As Christ’s followers, are we to have things better than He did?
