Time for God

The world goes so fast
Time doesn’t stop for anyone or anything
We have to do this and we have to do that
Someone needs us here and someone else needs us there
There is not much time for God

We fill our days with what matters to us
The job, the kids or grandkids, the spouse, the family,
the sporting events, the gym, the obligations of the world

If we do not make time for God, we will not have time for God
Giving God the best time of your day, whatever that means,
more important than anything or anyone else
That does not mean neglecting our duties
or ignoring the ox that has fallen into the pit
It means doing our best
to keep Jesus at the forefront of our hearts and minds

Loving God and hating the world,
carrying our cross,
honoring the Lord with our first fruits
Carving out time for Him above all else

So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath,
he cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:33

Prioritize
Find out exactly what He is asking of you
Keep Jesus at the center and included in all that you do
Commitment to Him is the greatest commitment of all
